Torso is born from the Italian manufacturing tradition, exalting to the maximum the ash wood that constitutes it and the combination between the technology and the handicraft workings necessary for its production. Designed for both the contract and the residential projects, Torso has an essential and straightforward silhouette that is summed up in the fluidity of the junction between the rear legs and the backrest. Torso chairs and barstools are available in four different versions that are distinguished by the type of seat: upholstered, wooden, woven with papercord or with nautical rope.

Antonio De Marco
Antonio De Marco is an industrial designer trained at the Polytechnic University of Milan and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, he holds a master’s degree from Marangoni Institute of Milan. In addition to his work in design, he is a lecturer for the master’s degree in Design at NABA and Polytechnic University of Milan. He was fascinated by mechanics and carpentry at a very young age.
